Cookie policy
Last update: April 15, 2026
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows the website to remember information about your browsing session and improve your user experience.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the technical operation of the website. They do not require prior consent. ForMApp does not currently use any proprietary session cookies beyond the minimum required by the Next.js framework for page rendering.
3. Analytics cookies – Google Analytics 4
Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google LLC. GA4 places the following cookies: • _ga (duration: 2 years) – unique identifier to distinguish users; • _gid (duration: 24 hours) – session identifier to distinguish users; • _ga_XXXXXXXXXX (duration: 2 years) – maintains GA4 session state (XXXXXXXXXX = your GA4 property identifier). These cookies collect pseudonymised data about your use of the site (pages visited, session duration, traffic source, country). IP addresses are truncated before storage. Data is processed by Google LLC (United States) under Google Analytics Terms of Service.
4. Retention periods
Analytics cookies are retained for the durations stated in section 3. You can delete cookies already placed on your device at any time through your browser settings (Tools > Settings > Privacy / Cookies, depending on your browser).
5. Consent management
On your first visit, a consent banner allows you to accept or refuse non-essential (analytics) cookies. Your choice is stored for future visits and can be changed at any time. Refusing analytics cookies does not affect your access to the website content. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the browser add-on available at: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
